This exhibition attempts to situate YAO Jui-Chung’s Roaming around the Ruins Series―The Civilization Built by Skeleton (1991-2005), collection of New Taipei City Art Museum (NTCAM), as a centerpiece, where a dialogue transcending time and space is facilitated with the works of three groups of contemporary artists. YAO’s work also encourages further readings of nine works from NTCAM’s collection.

This interactive experience evokes Taiwanese collective memories of the past when people used to gather around radios.
The bathhouse 石上流 uses flowing water guiding visitors into a paradise where heat, cold, dryness, and humidity intertwine and extend into culinary sensations.
